Our commitment
SanatanTools is designed to be usable by everyone — including devotees using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, high-contrast modes, and small screens. We target compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we do today
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings, and labelled form controls.
- Keyboard navigation for every core flow — Panchang, Kundli, festivals, tools.
- Visible focus rings and sensible tab order.
- Dark mode and light mode with tested colour contrast.
- Text resizable to 200% without loss of content.
- Alternative text on informative images.
- ARIA live regions for dynamic Panchang and Kundli updates.
- Twelve-language interface with proper
langattributes and Devanagari fonts.
Known limitations
- Some complex SVG charts (Kundli, divisional charts) are being enhanced with better screen-reader descriptions.
- Print previews of Panchang are still being refined.
We are actively working to fix these.

- the page URL,
- the barrier you experienced,
- the assistive technology you were using.
We aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix reported issues promptly.
