Tithi formula
Tithi index = floor(((Moon longitude − Sun longitude) mod 360°) ÷ 12°) + 1. Index 1–15 = Shukla, 16–30 = Krishna. Exact end time comes from finding when the elongation crosses the next 12° boundary.
